Rishikesh–Lansdowne, Mussoorie–Dhanaulti, Nainital–Corbett or Jaipur–Ranthambore offer shorter road-inclusive schedules. Select fewer worthwhile visits and choose the hotel by actual access. A safari or activity-led holiday needs the specific optional service confirmed before you choose the final plan.
Have six to eight days?
The Manali, Shimla–Manali, Dharamshala–Dalhousie and Udaipur–Kumbhalgarh samples include meaningful local time and sensible staging. Count every transfer night when comparing proposals. Removing a hotel night does not remove the road distance; a revised shorter holiday should have its own checked day sheet.
Want Kashmir or a desert circuit?
The longer Kashmir and Jodhpur–Jaisalmer road plans use staging and multiple overnight bases. Review whether your group enjoys long drives before booking. Local access, camp facilities, gondola tickets and activities require separate confirmation. A revised flight or rail arrival is a different service and is not included in these road samples.
Travelling as a family or private group?

A complete quote is easier to compare
A tour package is a custom quotation, not a fixed promise that every service is included. Ask for the vehicle category, trip dates, agreed route, hotel if requested, rooming arrangement and total payable amount in writing. Compare quotations using the same itinerary and inclusion list.
Confirm in the written quote
- Road transport, driver and the agreed pickup/drop points.
- Fuel and the stated kilometre/day or package allowance.
- Tolls, parking, state charges and driver allowance: included or separately payable.
- Hotel name, room type, occupancy and meals, only if a stay is requested and confirmed.
- Taxes, advance amount, balance schedule and the validity of the quote.
Never assume these are included
- Monument tickets, guides, local e-rickshaws, porters and restricted-area transfers.
- Safari permits and authorised safari vehicles, rafting and outdoor activities, boating or cable cars.
- Meals, room upgrades, extra beds and personal expenses unless specifically listed.
- Extra stops, excess kilometres, additional hours or an extra night.
- Any cancellation refund that has not been stated in the applicable terms.
Each detailed itinerary separates the first Delhi road stage from onward transfers. Billing may use round-trip, local-use and garage-to-garage kilometres or a stated package allowance. Ask which basis applies and how extra use is charged. A short return detour can affect both driving hours and cost.
Hotel, activity and permit cancellations may have different terms from transport. Before an advance is paid, obtain the cancellation deadlines, weather-related change process and any non-refundable supplier charges.
